Description
The test measures the levels of DHEAS in the blood – a hormone produced by the adrenal glands. This test evaluates adrenal gland function and diagnoses conditions related to hormone imbalances, such as adrenal tumors, pituiotary glan damage, congenital adrenal hyperplasia or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), delayed or early puberty, low libido in men, etc.
