Description
Trisomy 8, also known as Warkany syndrome 2, is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 8 in some or all cells. This condition is typically seen in a mosaic form, meaning some cells have the extra chromosome and others don’t. While full trisomy 8 is usually lethal, mosaic trisomy 8 allows for survival and is associated with a wide range of phenotypic variability
