TRISOMY 12 (CLL)

Description

Trisomy 12 is a common genetic abnormality found in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), specifically in about 10-20% of cases. It involves the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 12. While often considered an intermediate prognostic factor, the proportion of cells with trisomy 12 can significantly impact a patient’s outcome.
