Total Hysterectomy of Uterus including uterus-Cx-both FT-Both Ovaries

Description

The test is performed to remove the entire uterus along with the cervix, both fallopian tubes and ovaries. This surgery is typically recommended for conditions such as uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, severe endometriosis, fibroids and chronic pelvic pain that cannot be managed by other treatments. The test provides a gross and microscopic description of the specimen and final diagnosis about the tissues (fibroids, malignancy etc.).
