Description
TEL/AML1, also known as ETV6-RUNX1, is a fusion gene resulting from a chromosomal translocation t(12;21)(p13;q22) found in B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), particularly in childhood ALL. This fusion protein is a defining feature of a subgroup of ALL patients with a generally favorable prognosis.
