Sputum for malignant cells

Description

The test detects cancerous cells in sputum, mucus and phlegm coughed up from the lungs for diagnosis of lung cancer and other respiratory tract cancers. The non-invasive method is used especially in patients with symptoms like persistent cough, blood in the sputum (hemoptysis) or a history of smoking.
