Description
PDGFRA by FISH (Fluorescence in situ hybridization) is a molecular diagnostic test used to detect rearrangements in the PDGFRA gene, particularly in the context of certain myeloid neoplasms and eosinophilia. This test is valuable for diagnosing and monitoring conditions like chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative neoplasms (MDS/MPN), and myeloid/lymphoid neoplasms with eosinophilia and tyrosine kinase gene fusions.
