Napsin A immunohistochemistry (IHC) is a laboratory test used to identify the protein Napsin A in tissue samples. It is primarily used to help diagnose lung adenocarcinoma and to distinguish it from other types of cancer. Napsin A is also found in certain other cancers, such as some renal cell and thyroid carcinomas.
