Description
The test measures the amount of HBV DNA–the genetic material of the virus in the blood, providing a quantitative assessment of the viral load. This test is used to diagnose an active Hepatitis B infection, monitor the severity of the infection and evaluate the effectiveness of antiviral treatment.
