Hepatitis B Envelope Antigen is a simple blood test to detect hepatitis B e-antigen and active Hepatitis B infection. Hepatitis B Envelope Antigen test result indicates the presence of the active form of the virus. It also shows that the infection can be transferred to others through infected blood, sharing infected needles, sexual intercourse and from mother to child.
