Description
FISH for RB1 (13q) deletion is a molecular cytogenetic technique used to detect deletions of the RB1 gene, located on chromosome 13q14, in cells. This test is often employed in the diagnosis and management of various hematological malignancies, particularly Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Multiple Myeloma (MM), and Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas (NHL).
