Description
Complement 4 (C4) is a blood test prescribed to check the level of C4 proteins in the blood. It is one of the essential proteins in the complement system,which is part of immune(defence) system. The C4 test measures the levels of C4 protein in the blood against a reference range and helps diagnose medical conditions ranging from autoimmune disease and immune disorders to infections and chronic kidney or liver disease.
