Description
Anti-Scl 70 Antibody test detects the presence and amount of IgG antibodies against Scl-70 ( DNA topoisomerase I) in blood. It is a highly specific marker for progressive systemic sclerosis(scleroderma). Furthermore, autoantibodies against topoisomerase I are a prognostic marker for the further development of systemic sclerosis.
