Alpha 2 Macroglobulin is a blood test used to measure the amount of Alpha 2 Macroglobulin(large protein) in blood. It is very useful in the evaluation of patients with nephrotic syndrome(kidney disorder that causes extreme level of protein in urine) and pancreatitis.
