PD-L1 (22C3) is a specific immunohistochemistry (IHC) assay used to detect the protein PD-L1 in tumor tissue samples, primarily in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It’s often used as a companion diagnostic to identify patients who may benefit from treatment with the drug pembrolizumab (Keytruda)
