Description
The TLE1 immunohistochemistry (IHC) test is primarily used to help diagnose synovial sarcoma. It can be helpful in distinguishing synovial sarcoma from other similar tumors, especially when moderate or strong staining is observed. While TLE1 is often associated with synovial sarcoma, it can also be expressed in other tumors and even in normal cells like endothelial cells and basal keratinocytes.
