Description

BRCA1/2 gene testing using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) can detect both germline (inherited) and somatic (acquired) mutations in these genes. This dual testing approach helps identify individuals at risk of hereditary cancer and also those whose tumors may be susceptible to targeted therapies like PARP inhibitors.
